Sam’s first exposure to osteopathy was when her mum had extreme back and leg pain. Her dad practically carried her mum to the car for her appointment but she walked back through the door after. To a 10 year old that looks like magic. Later sustaining injuries when she played lacrosse for England then piqued her interest in sports rehabilitation.

Sam has experience of treating a wide range of conditions, with a special interest in fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions, pregnancy, sports injuries, injury rehabilitation, ankle pain, back pain and neck pain. However she’s quite happy to treat whatever you walk through the door with.

Sam has had the pleasure of working with a variety of people including office workers, horse riders, pregnant women, the elderly, those with acute and chronic pain, particularly back-related pain and patients with impaired mobility. She works extensively with athletes and sports clubs internationally, as well as operating as head of the medical crew for the Luxembourg Men’s National Lacrosse Team and the Belgium National Lacrosse Team.

As a sportswoman, Sam understands the intricacies of sport psychology and the impact injuries can have on athletes. Maintaining physical fitness and resolving injuries in an effective and efficient manner is paramount to performance; Sam aims to ensure your body is working to its full potential so you can make the most out of it for training and competition.

Sam isn’t just here for the athletes, her passion really lies in helping people. Every patient is a priority and seeing each patient leave feeling better is her ultimate goal.

She can also provide deep tissue and more relaxing variations to her sports massage for people who work long hours and are struggling with tension, stress and day to day aches and pains. Before booking she is happy to discuss your needs, answer your questions and advise you on the best way forward to get you back to full health.
